Moving to trash does not work because "program running". force quit won't work. activity monitor won't work. tried every solution google displayed. Any ideas?
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. 1. To uninstall the Parallels Toolbox, quit the application. 2. Open Finder > Applications > Select the Parallels Toolbox application and application and move them to Trash. Open Activity monitor and search for "Parallels Toolbox" 2. Quit the process. 3. Thank you very much. I tried all the steps above. the "problem" I think is it is an expired subscription. So Parallels has it open to advice of subscription expiration. I need the Parallels Toolbox off my computer. I think Parallels might be behaving in a naughty fashion.

Navigate to Applications. 4. Right-click the Parallels Toolbox application > Move to Bin
I must be doing something wrong. But I don't think so. very carefully followed your instructions. Two times received message "The item 'Parallels Toolbox' can't be moved to the trash because it's open". hope you have other ideas,

Can you please advise me how to delete the same? I'm having the same exact issue as the original poster and ran all troubleshooting steps in this thread with the same results as OP.
Nevermind... moderator please don't approve the last message or this one. I took one more step. Deleting it this time from the applications folder and not the applications utility did the trick.
