    I have a task - remove Parallels toolbox with licensing information.
    I have macOS 11.3 (20E5217a), an install of Parallels Desktop 13, and Parallels Toolbox 2.6.1.
    As I said earlier, I want toolbox removed (because by now it's pretty useless, and I'm sanctioned from further updates). Another thing I do not want is licensing info so that if someone does reinstall it, it doesn't work.

    What I have done is:
    • look through all files on my Macintosh HD to find anything related to "parallels" and "toolbox" (found PD13 VM app mirrors; C header files);
    • find an option to remove my account (no success);
    • remove random files from ~/Library related to com.parallels.toolbox.
    None of that removed info about my already installed key. How do I remove this info? Or is Toolbox tightly linked to Desktop, which means I have to remove my PD13 license too? Or is it somehow network-based?

    Greetings Fjodor,
    Thank you for posting on Parallels Forum.
    If you have a separate Parallels Toolbox license key, you can delete all the files as described below.
    To delete all the Parallels Toolbox related files, kindly try performing the steps below:
    1. Quit Parallels. For this, go to the toolbar → click the Parallels icon → select Quit Parallels Toolbox. Also, you can quit Parallels from the Dock panel.
    2. Go to the Applications folder and remove Parallels Toolbox into the Trash.
    3. Now you need to find Parallels Toolbox's temporary files. By default, applications store their remains in the hidden Library folder. To go to this folder in Finder, press the Command+Shift+G shortcut and navigate ~/Library.
    4. Check the following subfolders for Parallels Toolbox's remaining files:
      • ~/Library/Application Support/
      • ~/Library/Caches/
      • ~/Library/Cookies/
      • ~/Library/Preferences/
      • ~/Library/Saved Application State/
    Let us know if you still having any difficulties deleting files from Parallels Toolbox.
    Wishing you a great week ahead!

    Yup, it's gone. PT now wants a key. Must've been the license file in /Preferences.

    Thanks a lot!
