Everytime I boot a Windows XP VM I recently created, it gives a popup saying that battery should be changed or the computer should be connected to a power supply, which is not reflecting the fact that the hosts' battery is at 89%.
It had "Ruhezustand aktivieren" (the last Tab in energy options activated - is that hibernation?) Anyway, give it a try. Switched that off now.
The message is still there. I could make it go away yet. It has bee there right from the beginning of the VM creation and must have been active already on the physical machine. I just noticed that I had "Parallels" as Energy option (schema). For testing I niw sitched that to "Desktop"- "Go to sleep mode" is disabled.
I believe the issue is solved. That Windows XP was still SP1 (yes, the original physical notebook has never been connected to the Internert after SP1). I upgraded to SP3 and all problems see to be gone.
