Have not used my Parallels 11 since mid-2015 (been using Bootcamp) and decided to try it again. I had saved my last virtual machine from P11 and everything installed and updated fine. But since I am now running Sierra, I decided to download the trial demo of Parallels 12. But I know that it will overwrite my Parallels 11 install.
    (1) Is there a way to try the Parallels 12 demo WITHOUT losing the P11 installation?
    (2) If not, how to I get back to P11 if I don't see any significant improvement in performance?
    Thanks,
    Steve

Installing Parallels Desktop 12 will replace Parallels Desktop 11.
Only one version of Parallels Desktop installed on Mac.
Try Parallels Desktop 12 trial, click here.
If you're satisfied with Parallels Desktop 12, you can purchase the upgrade version of Parallels Desktop 12 from http://www.parallels.com/
To revert to Parallels Desktop 11, click here.

I also was using Parallels Desktop 11. I wanted to try the trial version of Parallels Desktop 14 but didn't realize it would replace my PD 11. Can I use the file provided by Dineshraj above to revert back to PD 11? Will it automatically recognize the VMs I created previously in PD 11? I have a recent Time Machine backup containing the prior PD 11 application and VMs. Can I use that PD 11 application file to replace the PD 14 trial version or would it not work because this replacement is not a full installation process? I also have my original ParallelsDesktop-11.1.2-32408.dmg and its activation key but this isn't the most recent version.

Hi, yes, you can download Parallels Desktop 14 from Parallels official website, install it and check.
Then you can use the link above to download and install Parallels Desktop 11.
This reinstallation will not affect your virtual machines. But back up is always appreciated.
Let us know if you have any additional questions.
