My iMac with my Parallels 13 application had a hard drive failure. A new hard drive had to be installed. From my time machine backup I recovered the Parallels folder from the Documents folder. This has the files: Ubuntu Linux 14.04 Desktop.pvm Ubuntu Linux.pvm Windows 7 1.pvm Windows 10.pvm From my user Library I recovered the Parallels folder with the folders: Applications Groups Applications Menus Downloads Parallels Desktop Unfortunately I did not back up my applications, so I downloaded a new Parallels 13.0 and activated it with my license key. To restore Parallels to what it was, do I just put these two Parallels folders where they belong, or are there other files and folders to worry about? Bob
Hi delaneyrm. Please copy the '.pvm' files to its original location and double click on the file to start the virtual machine. If you get a popup window to select 'Moved' or 'Copied', please select Moved and you can start using the virtual machine without any issues.
