Black Screen in Coherence on Laptop

    Hi,

    I cannot run windows in coherence mode on my laptop screen. It works fine when connected to external displays, but all windows screens are completely black in coherence mode on my laptop.

    I am using the "scaled" option for viewing - and have tried all other view options, but still getting the black screens.

    i have uninstalled and reinstalled parallels tools with no luck. I have updated to make sure I am running the latest version of parallels. Any thoughts on how to fix?

    Hello @JoeG6 We would request you to open the Device Manager(Click on Windows Search bar > Type RUN > and type this in Run Command "devmgmt.msc and hit Return). Go To Display Driver and Right Click on Parallels Display Driver and Select Uninstall. Open Run Command again type "appwiz.cpl" and then hit return and select the Parallels Tools and uninstall. Please restart the virtual machine and install the Parallels Tools http://kb.parallels.com/115835 and check it helps. Thanks, Shathish

    @Shathish@Parallels this fix is no longer working. whenever I drag screens running in Windows onto my Laptop monitor they go black or fully white. I repeated the steps above but still running into the same issue.

    Any thoughts on how to fix?

    Lets us know the version of macOS X and Parallels Desktop installed on your Mac. If possible create a problem report id and share the report number with us to check.
