I finally upgraded from Snow Leopard to Yosemite. I absolutely hate the way my guest vm now opens on my iMac when it used to always open on my second, large monitor. The guest is Windows XP Pro (which NEVER will be upgraded) which opens to full screen on the second monitor AFTER I move it. I never had to do this before. I hate coherence mode and like the way I have it except for having to move the blasted window every time. Also, I am not happy with the way Parallels no longer gives me a Parallels Menu bar (yes, I do see most of the functions, but I can't find where my version is to report it). I believe I'm running Parallels 10 with Yosemite. What do I have to do to force Parallels to open the guest vm where I want it? Leslie
Your response referring me to the article was useless. First, when I click on Parallels icon in the Dock, I do NOT get to select Display on Second Monitor - this option is NOT available to me. I don't know whether I'm using Window or Full Screen - Parallels opens in a small window and then enlarges to full screen. I loathe the new menu bar; I prefer it on the Mac side, NOT on the Windows side. Leslie
