I currently have Parallels 9, running Win 7 Ultimate, on El Capitan. I used to have internet connection. But somewhere along the line with the IOS upgrades, I can no longer get online on the VM side. The Mac side is fine. I can get online both via wired and WiFi. But not on the Window side. I've have read all the thread and can not find any solution. I've tried everything that was suggested throughout the form and I'm hitting a wall. Please help...
Hi Tim6, please follow the steps mentioned below to fix the network issue in Windows virtual machine: In the Parallels Desktop menu, go to Parallels Desktop > Preferences > Advanced > Networking and select "Restore Defaults". To use the Bridged networking mode, go to your virtual machine's Configuration > Hardware > Network and choose Bridged: Default Adapter, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi depending on your needs.

Hello Tim6, Unfortunately, Parallels Desktop 9 doesn't officially support El Capitan OS. Try to Upgrade your Parallels Desktop 9 to version 11 and check how it works.
Imy using Windows 8 on parallels 11 with El Capitan and my windows 8 side is not detecting my wifi. But the actual side is. Any suggestions please.
i am downloading parallels 11 so i can download windows 8 then download SAS 9.4 I was able to download Parallels and it said it was connected to Network 1. While downloading SAS 9.4 there was an error message with Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 service pack. so i stopped the download to get the service pack from microsoft.com, However it could not download the service pack because it said i needed to check my internet connection I want to be able to pick up my wifi on the windows side but it says there are on wireless devices found under Change PC settings... I am also not sure if i should do shared network, host-only or bridged..... DO you have any suggestions? PLEASE and THANK YOU !!!
