Running Parallels 11 for Mac and I want to resize the filesystem to greater than 64GB. I restoring from a Time Machine backup and it reports that the system is to small to restore the backup.

Hi, Parallels Desktop for Mac includes improved integration with Time Machine. When your virtual machine is backed up, only the most recent changes are saved (the latest snapshot), so the backup process takes less time and uses less space on your Time Machine storage device. You need to have enough disk space on your Mac to restore .pvm file.

Thank you for the reply. I have 1 TB of free space on my machine and I'm just creating a system with 128 GB. I have tried almost every possible option and the resize filesystem check box is never active.

We strongly recommend that you check your virtual machine's hard disk for errors and back up your virtual machine before following the steps suggested in the article http://kb.parallels.com/113972 Thanks! PC
