Frequently when I push PD8 to full screen I end up with a blank space that is also tagged with the PD icon. It's unusable and unclosable, but I can switch to it by 3-finger swiping too it using my trackpad.

Exiting PD and restarting usually fixes the issue, but it's an annoyance. I must be doing something wrong since it doesn't always happen, but I'd love to figure it out and make the annoyance go away.

    Tech Details:
    Parallels Desktop - Build 8.0.18608
    OS X - 10.8.4
    27" iMac / 2.7Ghz i5 / 12GB RAM / 240GB SSD / 1TB HD

I have the same issue. Becoming irritating. Happened after last update

This is happening to me, too. Has there been any replies/answers to this one? It's irritating...

The only thing that SEEMS to work is allowing PD8 to completely come up and stabilize in a window, and then clicking on full screen. Also, the problem seems to happen more when I start PD on boot, vs. allowing the Mac to boot completely before opening PD.

We'll - it's not a "fix" per se, but since I upgraded to PD9 I haven't had it happen anymore.

For what it's worth, this still happens with Parallels Desktop 11 on El Capitan
