Up until V1.8.305, two finger swipes left and right were working to show charms bar and app switcher. The latest build (1.8.314) seems to have introduced 1 finger swipes for the Magic Trackpad but it also has rendered my Magic Mouse gestures non-functional. Aside from downgrading and losing the other fixes of the latest build, how can I get the Magic Mouse gestures working again? Gestures are enabled in the PVS file.
Support??! I don't think so What an incredible cluster**** it is to deal with the massive line of Indian telephone "support" that Parallels puts between its customers and developers. I think their main tactic is to beat the customer in a war of attrition into finally giving up altogether rather than jumping through the ridiculous hoops of convincing the telephone staff to elevate the bugs to their attention. They call at all hours of the night here, in spite of me specifically requesting only during Japanese business hours. They're using some horrible IP phone system so that it is next to impossible to decipher their speech. They insist on requesting remote access of my machine (presumably to check settings) even though I'm quite sure there is no way they're going to do anything about this bug, which is to do with code changes in the latest build. It almost makes me want to jump ship to VMware. I paid a premium price for the last 4 major versions of Parallels and I would think that the support experience would be a little better than this. There's no point in me complaining directly to Parallels about it. I'd have to get it through their subcontracted telephone "support" staff which is clearly hopeless.
Hi, thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it. Those gestures were used in PD before for IE, and that's what people want them to be. We had a lot of complains, so we switched them off. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hanna
Thank you for your reply. You have at least one user complaining that this feature was switched off without any warning. Isn't there any way this can be added as a user configurable option in the settings? That would be perfect.

Go to Virtual Machine > Configure > Options > Advanced and put a checkmark on Optimize Modifier Keys for Gamers
