I'm running windows 7 ultimate on my Asus G73JH and i have an xp virtual machine, but Ubuntu says "unable to find a medium containing a live file system". I can't figure out what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
Same problem, but with Ubuntu 11.04 I have Win7 with Parallels Desktop 4 on a Sandy Bridge 4 cpu system. I have 2 VMs already set up and running TrixBoxes. Now I am trying to set up an Ubuntu 11.04 system. I have the ISO attached to the CDROM. Whenever it boots, I get the message "(initramfs) Unable to find a medium containing a live file system". Can anyone tell me what is happening here? Also, I will need the parallel tools. I hope Parallels will support that soon on 11.04. -Bob
Honselty I'm really disgusted with parallels. I bought it through my school with a student discount so i get NO SUPPORT. Then i try ti log into these forums again to respond to a quesiton i myself asked sever months ago and can't seem to log in as me. I have to make a new username called newGW2 because i can't have my old one. This product would be great if it ever worked for me. I really don't get what the heck is wrong with it. And is the mac version on version 6 just because they didnt want to have the same version number as windows, or is it completely different and more up to date?
