Under V3 i had a few games running, but after upgrading to V4 they started giving me problems. After applying the hot fix they refused to even load. I finally got a couple of them up and running, but they give all kinds of weird problems now like players who stand like statues instead of moving, guns that don't fire, tanks where they are not supposed to be... all in all making the games unplayable. The 2 that load but act weird are Call Of Duty, and Call Of Duty United Offensive. The ones that start to load and then go back to desktop are Call Of Duty2, Medal Of Honor Allied Assualt and Medal Of Honor Breakthrough.

Anyone else have these problems since V4?

    1. Reinstall DIrectX
    2. Check enable 3d hadrware acceleration in Configure -> Video
    3. Try updating keyboard and mouse driver like in http://kb.parallels.com/en/5777

Thanks for the reply. I just installed a new direct X 9.0c and checked to see that the 3d was checked. It was, and since installing a new copy of direct X things are even worse. Almost nothing works properly, things are out of place, guns don't fire and half the players stand there like statues.

That could very well be, however, that doesn't change the fact that first two COD and Medal Of Honors at one time did work on my system under V3. and now do not under V.4, which is unhandy, but not something i can't live with as i keep a windows game machine alive just for such things.

On another thought, have you tried reinstalling those games? Parallels Desktop 4 emulates hardware in another way, than Parallels Desktop 3, so that might be affecting performance.
