Hi, I've seen posts on this but they all read like a guide to building a rocket ship. I would like to take an old wincloned bootcamp partition (that was also a PD install) and convert it into a .hdd file that could be opened like that in PD, anytime anywhere. Is there a simple procedure? I really just need to get some files and settings from the image, as I now have a better PD/Bootcamp partition working. Hmmm....thx

You need to use Parallels Transporter for Windows , it will create Windows VM

Oh yea, I heard about that...but will it work if that partition is on an external drive? If so, I'll give it a swag....thanks again John!

Yes, Windows version is Transporter is working within Windows, so if you can boot Windows there is no difference
