I use Parallels infrequently. I just started up for the first time in about 6 months and got the message that my activation key has expired. An email to tech support should fix this, but right now I'm stuck. It's Friday night and I need to use Windows NOW, not 24 hrs from now when I hopefully will have a response/new activation key. It is extraordinarily frustrating to have paid for this software and not be able to use it. I understand the need to protect copyright/intellectual property. However, I also have rights -- I purchased the right to use the software, and that is impeded by your key/activation process. I wish you either had an automated way to generate a new activation code immediately or 24/7 support for this issue. Thank you.
Keys expire? Activation keys expire? Under what circumstances? What is the justification for disabling legally purchased software after it's been validated?
