So I started up my mac mini with the Access Server, and downloaded Access client on my Ubuntu laptop. I can connect through html5 fine so far, however the client itself on Linux says [ you do not have RAS farms running you cannot connect through when i give it my info like email address or server IP....

Environment

• Parallels RAS
• Windows Server RDS
• Microsoft 365 / Outlook (64-bit)
• Authentication via VMware Workspace ONE (certificate-based)

Behavior
- Parallels Client: Office sign-in works
- RDS desktop: Office sign-in works
- Parallels HTML5: Office sign-in fails

In HTML5, Outlook immediately fails with:
Something went wrong. [4nsw]...

Have I misunderstood that all applications that is launched open in the same tab?

Without going down the path of a HALB as we don't have huge numbers of users whats the best way to setup https://ras.mydomain.com to utilise our 2 gateways for HTML5 clients. ie: we just want users using a vanity type URL instead of picking a gateway URL.

is it just to setup an A DNS Record for RAS.mydomain.com with two A entries of the IP addresses of both gateways?

For example
https://ras-gw1.mydomain.com...

I see that in Gateways Properties page I have a tab called 'Web' where the default URL can be overridden, tried to do that, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me, I'm getting a browser error: "Connection timed out"
Is there any other option needs to be configured, so HTML5 will work by DNS name

According to https://kb.parallels.com/en/125185, we can reduce the bandwidth used by Client via Experience settings policy. In fact, changing Experience settings policy is not possible for Launching apps in Browser only (HTML5 Only) mode.
In HTML5 only mode, please help me to decrease network bandwidth using! in my case, sometimes network traffic rise to 60 Mbps per user. This traffic is too high for our network.

If I use the "full fat" client to connect, this works and an RDP session is initiated.

However when using the HTML5 interface to launch the desktop, it attempts to connect then presents a u/p dialog box.
I can click OK, and it just asks for u/p again.

I've been looking in the logs to see if I can see anything obvious but nothing jumps out....

A couple of questions .. hoping that they're reasonably quick and simple.

The first and more important one, is it possible to hide the "Settings" Option in the portal? - We don't want users to see the sounds setting etc as we don't currently plan remote applications/desktops having the ability to play audio. I've already disabled in-app options for this.
